Supreme Court, President’s decrees rejected

As expected, the majority rejected the decrees of President Bujar
Nishani for the Supreme Court members. However, Sokol Ngresi’s name
received 67 votes against, seven in favor and one abstaining.

The other Socialist Movement for Integration MPs joined Spartak Braho for supporting the President’s decree, together with the only MP from the opposition, Aqif Rakipi from the Party of Justice, Integration and Unity.

His voted, together with two MPs from the SMI, Spartak Braho and Shkelqim Selami, were the only three votes in favor of Elona Stvri, which was rejected with 73 votes against.

The Parliament also voted the candidacies of Albana Shtylla and Vangjel Kosta as members of the High Council of Justice.

Even for this voting there have been some votes against from the majority, but were approved by the left majority.
