The Supreme Court has found not guilty the Chairman of the Parliament of
Security, Spartak Braho, who was accused of slander by MP Tom Doshi.
Both Doshi and Braho were represented only by their lawyers, and were not present when the verdict was announced.
Braho was sued 10 months before by MP Tom Doshi, who accused him of slander. Braho had said that the medical report that Tom Doshi presented at the Council of Mandates was falsified to justify his absence.
The sessions held at the Supreme Court, with the Prosecution General being there as third party, concluded that Braho’s and Doshi’s declarations could not verify the slander accusations.
