Supporting small business

The Tirana vice mayor, Jorida Tabaku, declared that small business will
be supported with a 700.000 EUR project offered by the EU.

According to Tabaku, this fund will enable the creation of policies for supporting the enterprises that will be created by different social groups, such as the people with disabilities, single mothers and other minorities.

“This project will start on October and will be only the beginning of the economic development policies that the Tirana Municipality has for these special groups, and will be also followed by other projects for encouraging enterprising and small businesses. We will continue in the months to come, keeping in mind that the initiative that we have launched in the stimulation of the priority sectors for the development of Tirana and the establishment of the guarantee fund that the Municipality will create for supporting the small business”, Tabaku declared.

Tabaku added that through the Social policies, the Municipality will enable the creation of equal chances for all groups in need, so that they can be involved in the working market.
