The aroma of the traditional cookie, the “Ballakume”, was spread in every house of Elbasan today.
The Summer Day celebrations have gathered hundreds of Albanians from various cities, who chose Elbasan as the city to visit for this holiday.
As every March 14th, the show organized by the municipality at the Gensher Square has started with the carnivals prepared by school students, who gave awareness messages through their costumes.
After the parade, the residents of Elbasan kept celebrating with their loved ones in homes or restaurants in this day that symbolizes the arrival of Spring.
The Municipality had organized a concert in midnight, in which Mayor Qazim Sejdini held a speech to wish a happy Summer Day to all citizens.
