Dozens of citizens demand help each day from the Ministry of Environment
for closing bars that stay open until the early hours of the morning.
Although they should close at 23:00 by law, most of them stay open, making citizens angry for not being able to be calm inside their homes.
The Minister of Environment, Ergys Agasi, declared that they have fined 150 subjects with 50,000 ALL this week, and some environment licenses will be revoked.
“There are plenty of complaints from citizens, especially in the capital. More than 100 business operators have been fined for loud music by the Tirana inspectorate, and this week we will revoke the environment licenses”, declared Ergys Agasi.
Tirana and Durres remain the most problematic cities, where pollution mounts up to 100 decibel, from 40 that is allowed.
The Ministry of Environment will inspect the entire coastline from June 27th, from Velipoja to Ksamil.
