
Serbian negotiator Borko Stefanovic met today in Zvecan with
representatives from the northern communes, in attempts for organizing a
meeting with KFOR commander, Erhard Buhler.
During an interview for Serbian news agency “Beta”, Stefanovic declared that they have not reached “reconciliation” during the meetings in Zvecan.
Sources say that for this meeting, General Buhler has set as condition the removal of the roadblocks between Slatina and Leposavic.
One of Northern Kosovo Serbs leaders, Mristmir Pantic, declared that the talks with the representatives of the Serbian government have been difficult and in some occasions not very pleasant.
Bogdanovic: No to violence and guns
The Serbian Minister for Kosovo, Goran Bogdanovic, appealed for self-restraint and avoiding violence, provocations and the use of guns.
Speaking on radio B92, Bogdanovic notified that the Serbian part appeals for calm, while Kosovo media report that the roadblocks are still on the road.
The Serbian official declared that in the meeting that is expected today with KFOR commander, Erhard Buhler, they will present specific propositions.
