State Graduation Exam amends

Thousands of young students who will undergo the State High School
Graduation test this year will give only two facultative tests, from
three that there were one year ago.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Halit Shamata, explains that the students will not be able to choose the two foreign languages anymore.

“Every student will choose to subjects, except for the foreign languages. At the menu of facultative languages, they will not be able to select what is considered ‘first foreing language’ and ‘second foreign language’. It means that if they will select one foreign language that is first, and one foreign language that is second. You cannot have two first foreign language and two second foreign languages”, Shamata explained.

Besides the form A1, the students for this year will electronically fill the form A3.

“The second important thing is that we will start this year by filling the A1 form electronically. The A1 form is related with the facultative subjects for the tests”, Shamata declared.

The amends are expected to improve the level of the students that will continue university.
