The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, reacted after the suspension of the Chief of Police, Haki Cako.
Basha said the Court order proves the scandal reported by the opposition, that there is a flagrant violation of the national security.
He said that these steps show the determination of the Prosecution, but are not enough, because the first responsible person is the Interior Minister.
According to Basha, in every country with minimal democratic standards, an Interior Minister caught with illegal equipments resigns and is brought to justice, but this did not happen in Albania because of the pressure brought by the Prime Minister. Basha even said that the Prime Minister should resign for this, but he also admitted this cannot happen.
Basha accused Minister Tahiri of exposing the state within the state with mafia and criminal interests.
