The Education and Media Parliamentary Commission meeting continued in harsh
debates and polemics after the audit report that the Ministry of Education made
at the Sports Academy, now completely blocked.
MP Fidel Ylli mentioned some violations of rector Rizvanolli at the Sports Academy, and asked the Ministry of Education to unblock the process until the court gives its decision.
One of these alleged violations were 117.000 ALL that the rector had given to himself with his own signature, with an economic damage that goes to millions.
The Deputy Minister of Edication, Nora Malaj, declared that the Minister has no right to interfere, according to the High Education Law.
The Chairman of the Commission, the Socialist MP Valentina Leskaj declared that the article 50 of this law was against the Constitution and the International Conventions.
The rapporteur of the Democratic Party, Kreshnik Cipi, declared that there are no violations at the Sports Academy and that he doesn’t know where Ylli has found this Ministry of Education audit report.
The senate of the Sports Academy was unable to pass a budget, and declared that they will gather only for the election of the Sports Academy rector.
