The Office of the Special Prosecutor for War Crimes in Kosovo, David
Schwendiman, said they have not released any order for the arrest or
extradition of Ramush Haradinaj to Serbia.
This was the answer of the Special Prosecutor when the Serbian newspaper, “Vecernje Novosti”, asked him if Haradinaj is wanted by the new court.
“Haradinaj was arrested by the French authorities because of an arrest order issued by Serbia. This has nothing to do with my request”, he added.
Schwendiman said he doesn’t want to comment about the current investigations, or about who could be the next potential suspects.
