After six meetings, the Parliamentary Commission has closed the
investigation against the Chairman of the High Council of Justice.

Chairman Enkelejd Alibeaj notified the Commission Members of receiving the documentation of the HCJ financial activity.

“We have received the documentation that shows how the HCJ funds have been managed from 2009 to 2012. The documentation shows the financial movements in ALL and other currencies, the expenses for the fuels, the vehicles that have been purchased, etc.”, Alibeaj declared.

This Commission will release a final report on February 27th, which will be made available to the MPs.

Although Mr. Spahiu has resigned, Enkelejd Alibeaj preferred to consider him as the HCJ Chairman, and then it will be up to the Parliament to vote it.

The Commission’s meeting held earlier this month was followed by harsh debates regarding Spahiu, but however, his resignation was admitted.

In a phone conversation for Top Channel, from Washington, Spahiu declared that the RBA will compete in the next elections as a political party.
