
The Socialist Party rejected the proposition of the Democratic Party to
review the draft-law for an international investigation of the CEZ
scandal by international investigators. As never before, this law had a
record number of abstaining votes, 12 in total. 50 others were in favor
and 54 against the procedure. Ilir Meta, Monika Kryemadhi, Petrit
Vasili, Agron Cela and Kejdi Mehmetaj from the SMI voted in favor of the
Democratic Party request.
The Parliamentary Group leader of the Democratic Party, Edi Paloka, accused the majority of having no good will for an international investigation of this case.
The Parliamentary Group leader of the Socialist Party, Gramoz Ruci, explained that the SP is not against an international investigation, but against the proposition of the DP to accelerate the draft law.
