SP program for mines

The Socialist Party presented in Prrenjas its political program for the
mining isse. The meeting was held in an open environment, in front of
the former depots of the product that was gathered by the mines of this
area and that today are out of order.
MP Taulant Balla declared that the core of the political program for the mines is the miner’s status and the management of mines in a transparent way. He accused the Prime Minister of having the mines exploited by people that are related to him and that the miners live in full poverty, although they live upon an underground richness.
“Prrenjas, Rrjaca and Qukes have many important mines in their territory. Most of them have turned into an enrichment tool for individuals that we still don’t know who they are. People say that one mine is administered by the daughter of Sali Berisha, and as the people says, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Another mine is being administered by another serviceman of Berisha”, Balla declared.
The secretary of the political program, Ilir Beqja, declared that Albania is a country rich of minerals, but their bad management has made many miners to live in bad economic conditions.
The miners have asked a real solution for their status, since they live in difficult economic conditions. They say that they are discriminated by the government and its negligence in resolving some vital requests.
