SP: Not voting without reviewing drafts

The Socialist Parliamentary Group leader, Gramoz Ruci, declared that the
majority has not given an official answer for the pact offered by the
opposition for the laws with qualified majority.

Ruci declared that it is not serious to try and put the blame to the opposition for joint objectives.

“We have offered you to charge the Commission of Laws until December, for treating all drafts according their categories, in cooperation with an ah-hoc group, interest groups, constitutionalist and EU experts”, Ruci declared.

Ruci added that the opposition will engage to approve every law that will come out this wide and transparent consultation. According to Ruci, the majority is lacking of the political will for doing this.

The Parliamentary Group leader, Astrit Patozi declared that the 12 recommendations of the EU are concrete. Five of them are in the Parliament in the form of laws that require qualified majority, i.e. the opposition’s votes.

“Edi Rama says to come and talk for the pact, some clauses by us, some by you, some by them who are out of this and some by others. Rama suggests agreeing on the Governor, some board members here, some others there. And for the rest ‘we’ll see’, he says, because the tongue goes to the aching tooth, the next President. But what can we say to those in Brussels, that the opposition is asking for a reward for their return in the Parliament? Is the opposition coming for the majority in the Parliament?”, Patozi added.
