Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Socialist Party held a meeting with experts for discussing the
Administrative Court draft law, which they approved in principle this
Monday at the Albanian Parliament.
The opening speech was held by the Socialist MP and member of the Commission of Laws in the Albanian Parliament, Fatmir Xhafaj. Xhafaj valued the importance of the Administrative Court as an important part of the justice system, which is a challenge for the integration.
Armando Subashi, the Socialist MP and Rapporteur at the Commission of Laws, regarding the Administrative Court, declared that the opposition and their experts, after one year of hard work, have made their interventions making improvements in the law, compared to the initial variant presented by the government.
“The draft law came as product of a long and hard work of the Socialist Party, which has made qualitative improvements, compared to the initial variant of the government. The contribution for these improvements was given by professors, legal experts, members of the Legal Master Degree School, and the foreign missions have also given their recommendations”, declared MP Subashi.
The Socialist MP added that the working groups for this draft-law have tried to interfere in two moments: the first was related with the creation, organization and selection of the Administrative Court Judges and the second moment is related with the progress of the judicial trial.
