SP: Less rule of law in Albania

“The commanding structures of the Ministry have been occupied by loyal followers of Sali Berisha, elected only on clear political criteria. This is the reason why the law enforcing officers don’t trust their chiefs anymore. The law enforcement units cannot have as leader someone that is appropriate only as the character of a comedy, and never an Interior Minister”, declared the Socialist MP Eduard Shalsi.

After MP Gjermeni, the Socialists have presented some of the points of their program for returning the rule of law that according to them can be accomplished by avoiding and fighting the causes of these events by bringing the authors in front of their responsibilities.

“Hence, for the Socialist Party is a necessity to not focus the strategy of war against crime only by discovering the authors, but also to arrest and punish them. Berisha has shown that he cannot understand this integral approach of guaranteeing security. But for us there is no doubt that the war against crime and the guarantee of life and civil property can be reached only by fighting the cause of the crime”, declared the Socialist MP, Englantina Gjermeni.
