SP: Integration blocked by government

“The resolution confirms an important fact, that the European Union is listing their critics regarding the lack of achievements for Albania. These stances are not related with Berisha’s alibi that the integration is being blocked by the opposition, but it simply shows the failures of Sali Berisha in fulfilling the conditions set by the European Union”, Leskaj declared.

The failures with the integration cannot be covered with slander against the opposition, as the Prime Minister did during a press conference with his Macedonian homologue.

“The truth is that the integration is being blocked from inside. It’s being blocked by an incapable government that cannot dialogue with the opposition. I want to remind you that the opposition will never withdraw from the Fier issue, because we won the elections and the trials regarding the Fier District. This history is the most recent defamation of Sali Berisha to justify the failure with the integration by blaming the opposition in a time that Berisha himself has taken the Fier District and refused to recognize the opposition’s victory with vote, it refuses to implement the 13 decisions of courts of all degrees and rule in favour of the Socialist Party”, Leskaj declared.
