SP in a wide coalition

“This is the time to reason together with all our potential allies, in a cooperation process and for coordinating the energies, in order to go on the battlefield with a full coalition against the regime, and above all, with a coalition that will transmit throughout Albania the visions and the ideas of our program “For a National Rebirth”. Our program is the gravity point of the coalition that we want and will build. Every political force that is ready to join this program is more than welcomed”, Rama declared.

This invitation might go even to the Socialist Movement for Integration, a left-winged party that after the elections of 2009 chose to enter in coalition with the right-winged Democratic Party, forming this way the ruling majority.

Rama officialized the stance of the SP regarding immunity by reiterating the need  to take some concrete steps. As he underlines in the letter of one day ago, sent by Gramoz Ruci to the Ambassadors and the Parliament Speaker:

“I handed over to the three ambassadors the vision of the Socialist Party for amending the Constitution for the immunity. Our stance is clear and stable. We agree with the need to limit immunity and we will vote it after realizing a public, transparent and all-inclusive process for changing the constitution. On the other hand, we will not be part of any concentrated force for rushing with the Constitutional amends, and we will not allow the immunity limitation to be part  of a new witch hunt on the verge of the next elections”, Rama declared.

Rama commented the recent amends of the Electoral Code.

“The elections are not won with the Electoral Code and are not stolen through the Electoral Code. The elections are won on the electoral battlefield and the ballots are defended on the electoral battlefield. It is up to us to improve the laws on this base and continue getting organized for implementing the Electoral Code according to the law, and that everything that is written by law can be implemented in reality.
For the moment, the electoral system issue is unaddressed to. We had a very clear stance since the beginning, and we favor the reviewing of the system, but we have declared and we have stood to this declaration that we will not condition the electoral code review process with the system”, Rama declared.
