Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The election of a new National Assembly has a special significance for the leadership of this party.
The names of the 25 assembly candidates that will be voted on December 2nd have not been published yet. But the written media has published the possible candidacies, in which are missing the names of Andis Harasani and Kastriot Islami, from the Thinking Differently Movement.
In an interview for Top Channel, Harasani thinks that a Socialist victory in 2013 is more important than being part of the new assembly.
“It is not an official list, but I don’t think that it matters. From the moment that I have entered the Socialist Party, I have worked and I am still working for the Socialist victory, the democratization of the political life in the country, which must start for the SP. I am proud, together with my friends and the people who have supported me, for the battles that we have won. I think that this is the road that must continue for making the Socialist Party even more democratic, and for making it ready to win the next elections of 2013. Who’s on the list, who’ll get voted and who not, are secondary”, Harasani declared.
Last week, the Socialist leader, Edi Rama, asked the newly elected members of the National Assembly to submit their propositions for the new party assembly.
