The accusations between Rama and Berisha keep going in distance. One day
after the Prime Minister accused the opposition leader for inventing
statistics for his own benefit, the opposition leader accused the
government of falsifying official figures.
“Regardless what the official figures say, one in two Albanians are poor. The figures offered by the government are deformed and falsified. This is shown by the fact that ten different institutions have 10 different evaluations for poverty”.
According to the Socialist leader, poverty is a deep wound in the Albanian society.
“It is a wound that becomes even deeper by the bad managing of the social aids and other assistance that the state has to give to the people in need”.
According to Rama, the solution is at the Program for an Albanian Rebirth, which targets 95% of the Albanians and not the 5% that lives in luxury almost always enabled by the political relations. Rama declared that they are determined to change the economic-social policy.
