The Socialist MP, Pirro Lutaj, appealed the Albanian President and Prime
Minister to react and stop Arben Imami’s hiring new people in the army
against the Constitution.
“I asked the Albanian President to react, because this is a Constitutional crime. I asked the Prime Minister to react, because this is an institutional plot. I asked the Minister of Defense to react and blocked the issued order for the appointment of the Marine Forces Commander, and send this practice to the President. The illegal orders released by these institutions must be prevented by the Albanian President, who has the authority of General Commander of Armed Forces. The law enforcing institutions in Albania must react, because the violations are very visible and penal acts”, Lutaj declared.
The MP also appealed the new Commander of the Fleet to no exert his duty, or he will be criminally prosecuted.
“We appealed Captain Ferdinand Kreshmja, who was appointed by the Minister of Defense to not exert this duty, otherwise he will be criminally prosecuted for exerting a duty against the Constitution”, Lutaj declared.
