The Socialist Party appealed the Democratic Party candidate for Mayor of Tirana to accept the voice if the citizens who decided that the
winner of these elections should be Edi Rama and not Lulzim Basha.
Socialist MP Olta Xhacka reminded once again the absence of the security codes in these boxes and the damages found in them, facts that according to her prove that the government has manipulated the votes.
“Tirana has today a loser that should listen to the voice of the citizens and accept his loss. This is Berisha’s Lulzim Basha, who after losing the electoral race, is trying to rob Tirana by using Ristani and judges that have been caught by the government. The result announced by the Central Election Commission by order of Sali Berisha is invalid and unacceptable. The Socialist Party will follow all legal ways for rejecting this decision, convinced in the justice of its cause, in front of which no judge can close the eyes, no matter how much they have been pressured by the government. The consequences would be very severe”, Xhacka declared.
