The Socialist Party reacted this Monday after the report made by MP
Taulant Balla, who claims that Argita and Jamarber Malltezi have carried
out a political and physical attack against him, due to “stances held
by me against corruption and crime”, as he declared.
“The attack against Balla has been prepared, made in full conscience as part of an old battle between the Berisha-Malltezi families and Taulant Balla. We consider this an attack against the entire Parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, with the purpose to put obstacles to the path of reforms we have undertaken”, said MP Alfred Peza.
On behalf of the Socialist Party, Peza appealed the Parliament to condemn the act against this MP and bring the political battle back within the path of reason.
“The SP appeals the police and the prosecution to cooperate with Italian law-enforcing agencies to shed light on the truth and punish those who are guilty”, Peza declared.
