SP: Argita “blesses” investors

One day after Paki businessman Zafar Ansar reported on Top Channel about
his relation with the Prime Minister’s daughter, Argita Berisha, the
opposition declared that the Albanians now were able to see and listen
the level of abused reached by the Prime Minister’s family.
MP Eduard Shalsi declared that it clearly showed how foreign businessmen need to pay the Prime Minister’s daughter before they were allowed to invest.
“We met the case of Zafar Ansar even before, when his correspondence was given to a courageous media in Albania. We had the chance to hear how 100 million EUR of investments were blocked. He was one courageous businessman, but how many others are there who don’t have such courage. It is clear that before investing in Albania, you must contact with the Prime Minister first. And after leaving his office, you must enter his daughter’s office, who will decide if you are a businessman that deserves permits. We’re not dealing with an isolated case. This is a repeated history. What will the Prosecution do? This is a question that every Albanian raises today after seeing this corruption mechanism. It is up to this institution to prove and return the trust to the Albanian citizens that no one can stand above the law”, Shalsi declared.
