S&P: Albania, B+; economic evaluation improved

The US crediting company, “Standard and Poor”, improved the evaluation
of the debt of Albania from B to B+, with a stable perspective.
S&P said that the improvement note for Albania reflects the trust that the fiscal performance of the country will be strong in the years to come.
“We trust that the fiscal deficit of Albania is dropping. It will bring a gradual drop of the public debt from 70% of the GDP to 60% by 2019”, the official announcement says.
