SP: 64% of the SP members voted

The Socialist Party declared that the voting of the delegates for the Congress of November 5th was a success.
The Organizing Secretary, Blendi Klosi, declared that this shows that SP is the party of freedom and democratic rights. He announced the participation numbers and valued the importance of the emigrants’ vote.
“We thank the 57.140 members of the Socialist Party for voting the new Congress of the Socialist Party, the Albanian progressists. The participation was at 64%, but same as in the parliamentary or local elections, we must calculate the fact that there is a considerable number of voters who live in emigration. Yesterday’s participation is valued as maximal, never achieved before. 57.140 members have elected 865 delegates with direct vote for the 1330 candidates proposed by all SP branches throughout Albania”. Klosi declared.
