Socialists vote the head of Tirana

The Socialists of the Tirana Expanded Assembly will vote the new leader of their branch.

The race will be held between Ilir Zela and Sajmir Tahiri, the only candidates chosen by the SP leadership.

During this week, Zela and Tahiri have presented the respective platforms in front of the small Socialist assemblies that function as local organizations for every Municipal Unit of the Albanian Capital.

The voting for the new Tirana SP leader will be held this Saturday at the Theater of Opera and Ballet. The 630 assembly members of Tirana will vote one of the candidates.

According to the organizers, the Socialist leader will hold a speech, and then the runners will present their platforms for the way how to manage the SP in Tirana. The voting will be hidden.

The Socialist aim to end the party elections by March 15th, and after Tirana, the race will continue in the other districts where the Party leader place is vacant.
