Socialists elect delegates in four districts today

34.000 members of the Socialist Party in Elbasan, Fier, Korca, Berat,
are invited this Saturday to vote for the delegates of the March 19th
congress. 336 delegates will come out in total, based on the principle
one member, one vote.
There are 1000 candidates in total, proposed by the party in 23 municipalities, which control 151 administrative units.
Blendi Klosi said that 50% of the candidates are women, with 1/3rd of them being between 18 and 25 years of age.
Another criteria that has been fulfilled, according to the Organization Secretary of the SP, is that only 40% of the candidates hold a government position.
According to Klosi, the candidates have higher education and even post-graduate degrees.
PM Rama followed the process from Fier, and then moved to Elbasan. He thanked the members for the massive participation, despite the rain.
Ben Blushi, who has demanded elections for the party leader, is following the voting in Elbasan.
