Socialist meeting for diplomacy

The Socialist Party held a meeting for collecting ideas from the civil
society and interest groups, and for its implementation in the Socialist
Program “For a National Rebirth”.
The meeting was dedicated to the foreign policy of our country, especially the diplomatic service that Albania offers in the world, which, according to the Socialist leader, doesn’t represent the aspirations of the Albanian people.
“We are witnesses that official Albania cannot be on the right level. The diplomatic service doesn’t represent their aspirations and obligations towards our citizens, and the role of the diplomatic services has faded in the last years due to nepotistic appointments. It is sad that the diplomatic service is facing nepotistic hiring”, Edi Rama declared.
But what will the Socialist Party change when in power? Mr. rama promised a strategy in service of the foreign policy, the reformation of the diplomatic service in order to end the bad situation in which they are in, and the establishment of a working group for the functional restructuring of the Foreign Ministry, and above all, to end the nepotistic appointments.
