Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future On the verge of the National Assembly, the Socialist leadership gathered
for more than two hours, talking about the issues that will be laid for
discussion at the assembly.
Sources inside the leadership declared for Top Channel that a special attention has been paid to the replacement of Rudina Seseri, the MP that abandoned the Parliament Seat.
The opposition leader, Edi Rama, heard the propositions of the leadership members regarding this case, declaring that the Socialist Party will never allow the theft of this mandate by the majority.
The same sources say that the leadership saw the progress report for the FRESSH memberships, started a few months ago.
Part of the discussions at the SP leadership was the next congress of this forum, to which SP showed a special attention lately. Another topic that was discussed was the expansion of the SP base.
The National Assembly has a special importance for the time when it will be held tomorrow.
Besides the newest problem that the opposition is facing for not replacing the mandate of Seseri, the SP has a series of other issues to discuss, such as the electoral or parliamentary reform.
A special importance will have the next stance of the opposition for the electoral reform, as a key element that will decide the fate of the coalition with the small parties, which are asking changes in the electoral system.
