Social business against poverty

“My government spends for the so-called economic assistance 160 million dollars each year, which in a large percentage is a kind of economic abuse, equally divided between those who need it and those who don’t need it. If we could deviate some of these funds and provide micro-credits to families in need, we will help them to come out of poverty on their own and have a better life, ” Berisha declared.

In this meeting, Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Prize winner for war against poverty, declared that social business is very important for a society.

“Our goal is to focus on the people who are able to start a small business, but have no investment funds. Few of them have access to loans. Based on this principle, I think that wherever there is a problem, we can establish a business to resolve it, not to concentrate the profits on one single individual, but a social business that enlarges, by including other people in need who want to work”, Yunus declared.

Prime Minister Berisha declared that he will stimulate all social businesses by removing dividends of companies.
