The medical emergencies in Kukes are becoming even more urgent.
Lsat night, a 38-year-old pregnant woman showed severe health problems and the Ujmish residents transported her for 20 kilometers, in a 1 meter thick snow, to the Kukes hospital.
The residents walked for 7 hours, until they met a military truck that transported the young mother to hospital.
The entire Kukes area is covered by snow and almost all rural roads are blocked. Hundreds of families say that they have finished their food reserves.
