Starting from this weekend, the entire upcoming week is expected to have low temperatures, snow and rain.
Meteorologist Elvira Qilimi at the Military Meteorological Service predicts that temperatures will mark a temperature decrease from 2 to 3 degrees, bringing the minimal temperatures in mountainous countries down to -6 degrees C.
The snow will continue in mountainous areas, and the weather conditions will be unstable until mid February, but which are not expected to last for long.
The temperature drop followed with snowfalls in mountainous areas, bringing traffic difficulties.
Low temperatures, rain and snow are expected to continue until February 20th.
The Tirana-Elbasan road was problematic today, in the first hours. The situation was especially dangerous by icy asphalt and landslides.
