The first snowfall in Albania has created traffic difficulties in korce.
Qafe Qarri and other national roads have met difficulties, due to the
icy roads.
The tourist Dardha village is blocked and snow reached 30 meters. The low temperature has created ice layers in the city roads.
There were problems even in the Korce-Kapshtice road, where vehicles were obliged to use chains. The days to come are expected to bring even more snow.
In northern Shkoder, the snow has created difficulties in movement and the police asked the drivers to use tire chains.
The situation seems worse in Puke, where the snow has reached 50 centimeters in Qafe Shllak, Qafe Mali, 40 cm in Vermosh, Selce, Malesi e Madhe and 30 cm in Gjegjan-Fushe Arrez.
Snow in the towns of Puke and Fushe Arrez reached 10 cm. There were problems even in the Nation’s Road, where heavy vehicles were driving very slow.
Snow in Diber was immediate and there were many difficulties in rural areas and the national roads, where tire chains are required.
The Peshkopi-Bulqize road is also problematic, but also the road towards Burrel.
