The Socialist Movement for Integration MP, Silva Caka, accused the
Albanian Prime Minister of attempting provocations with his declarations
that SMI had tried to purchase votes.
Caka said Rama made this accusation because they fear the power of SMI in Berat and throughout Albania.
“He thinks that he can lie to the Albanian people by saying that the SMI is to blame. This is a hopeless alibi. His biggest problem is the fear from the free vote”, Caka said.
According to her, Rama was also afraid to make internal elections at his party, with Ben Blushi as a rival.
“He did everything possible for the opposition to stay out of elections, with the purpose to destroy them and manipulate elections through the police tied to the drug clans. The accusations in Berat that some police officers are trying to buy votes for the SMI, is a failed attempt to intimidate the SMI”, Caka said.
