SMI: Let’s come together for integration

Luan Rama, the General Secretary of the Socialist Movement for
Integration, appealed for cooperation between the political forces for
fulfilling the reforms that will approach Albania to the EU.
“The integration criteria are not a matter of political wills or individual interests, but they are related with the national cause”.
“The conditions set by the EU, which Albania must fulfill for deserving the EU candidate status, are not about the political will or individual interests. These are matters that are related with the country’s interests, obligations that need to be fulfilled, responsibilities that need to be realized. And in this context, every avoidance or attempt for blocking or for delaying this process damage the European interests of the country”, Rama declared.
According to him, there is no room for anyone to be happy about this, but everyone should take the responsibilities and show concrete commitment.
