The three candidates running for leaders of the Socialist Movement for
Integration have presented their political program for the next four
years. For Meta, his party should only focus on the public interest.
“The SMI should have public’s interests as its only ideology, and the only ally should be transparency with citizens. We are led by the desire to increase hopes about the future of Albania, and that its youth will stay here in the future. This is our duty and I will serve to it with maximal dedication in the next four years”, said Ilir Meta, current SMI leader.
Shezai Rrokaj said that the focus of his SMI program will be creating alliances withother parties to better serve citizens, all based on credibility.
For Peprarpim Spahiu, the SMI needs to have a leading role in Albanian politics. The candidates were presented during a meeting with the SMI structures in Tirana.
