Small parties unite for elections

21/11/2011 00:00

Small parties have decided to sit in a joint table for unifying their
stance in front of the bigger parties, the Socialist and Democratic
Parties, as regards the electoral reforms.

This movement was undertaken for preventing any possible repeat of the Electoral Reform of 2008, which left almost all small parties outside the Parliament.

The leaders of the smaller parties opposed the current system that has been adopted by the Spanish one, with a regional proportional and closed lists, and asked for equality and a just translation of the people’s votes.
