Skopje, 20 arrests for the murders

The Interior Ministry arrested more than 20 suspects, related with the five murders in tje Smillkovce village, near Skopje. The news was released by the Minister of Interior, Gordana Jankullovska.

The arrested are members of radical Islamism, people who try to damage Christians and Muslims of Macedonia, according to Jankullovska. There is no official notification about the names of these people or the evidence that the police has for their role in this serious crime.

The police operation was carried out after the former Interior Minister, Pavle Trajanov, who declared that the killers are hidden in the neighboring countries.

“I have information that we will have arrests in the neighboring countries”, declared Trajanov for the Serbian news agency, Vesti Online.

According to him, the arrest of the authors of this massacre will be a powerful and stabilizing factor, because there will be no more dilemmas for who stays behind this murder.

Trajanov’s warning raised interest among the Albanian and Macedonian opinion. Asked by the Macedonian media about where are his confirmations based, Trajanov declared that his warning must be seen in the context of the voices that try to destabilize the region, and related with the two paramilitary groups in Northern Kosovo.

Pavle Trajanov has often openly considered the Albanians as a danger for Macedonia.
