US Undersecretary of State for Economic Development, Energy and Environment Keith Krach was in Tirana today to sign the agreement for the construction of the Skavica HPP.
In his speech he said that the increase of American investments in Albania will create new jobs, while calling Skavica a historic project.
“It is an honor to be here, Mr. Rama, I am happy that we are taking the partnership further, on behalf of President Trump I thank you and the Albanian people for your hospitality and friendship, we also wish a speedy recovery to those affected by Covid – 19 and condolences to those who lost relatives in this pandemic. ”
“Your open support for the 5G network is a powerful example. Albania has joined the clean 5G wave. Increasing American investment in Albania will create new jobs. Skavica is a historic project, it will bring clean energy to Albania”, he said, among other things.
