Six new sculptures are added to the “Youth Park” of Korce, “Parku Rinia”, after the seventh symposium “Park Sculptures”.
Four foreign artists and two Albanians have brought perceptions that Belina Themeli, Vice Mayor of Korce, says that makes them the best ambassadors of their city, since they leave a part of themselves and take a part of Korca to where they work and live, something that only art can make possible.
The artists have worked for 10 days, and Gent Tavanxhi, curator of this activity, underlined that this symposium is a good chance for artistic cooperation and for preserving values.
The sculpture symposium was created in 2008. During these years, the Municipality has welcomed dozens of sculptors who have donated their works to the city.
