The OSCE in Albania reacted and condemned the attack against the home of journalist, Klodiana Lala.
“We encourage authorities to bring those responsible to justce. Free media plays an essential roel in democracy, and violence against journalists is very negative for the health of the society”, the OSCE presence asid.
The US Embassy published a press release, in which they condemn the attack against the journalist and her family. They encourage the Albanian law-enforcing authorities to make a transparent and thorough investigation.
The EU Delegation in Albania also released a reaction: “We condemn the attack against investigative journalist Klodiana Lala and reiterate our strongest support to journalists on the frontline of reporting on organised crime in Albania. We invite authorities to fully investigate promptly”, the declaration says.
The house of journalist Klodiana Lala was shot by unidentified persons this morning. 10 AK-47 bullets hit the walls of her parent’s house, where she was also keeping her two children.
