Shkoder Social Center denies violence

One day after the police took under custody the Director of the Shkoder
Social Development Center, Juliana Cepi, and employee Aida Ymeraj, the
other workers have opened doors for the media and deny the violence,
saying that the entire story was made up by a person who was fired two
years ago.

“I was shocked yesterday after hearing the accusations. No one was ever arrested in this institution. The former Director has made everything up”, says Vera Maleci, social worker.

Another worker, Vitore Prroni, says that the person who is accused by them of making the story up, was fired for severe violation of the discipline.

However, the Prosecution says there have been three major women who were impregnated and forced to undergo illegal abortion.
