Shkoder, psychiatric hospital inaugurated

In Shkoder was inaugurated the new Psychiatric Hospital, equipped with
modern appliances. This hospital has a MR scanner that will
be used for all northern Albania.
The cost of the new hospital, with the scanner included, was around 1.7 million USD. In the inauguration ceremony was present the Health Minister, Petrit Vasili, and the Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli.
“The best gift comes when you do good things for the health. We are leaving the old structures behind, and with the new ones we brought the ambition to complete the master plan in a few months”, Vasili declared.
“The contrast between the old and new conditions cannot be compared. In the future, the hospital will have further equipments for the people with health problems”, Topalli declared.
The new equipments of the Shkoder Hospital will enable the citizens in northern Albania to avoid the travels to Tirana or the private clinics for having their health services.
