The Erzen River is not the only one in Albania that is suffering the pollution.
7 km from Shkoder, near the national road and the international Shkoder-Hani i Hotit railway, the Perroi i Vraskes riverbed is completely covered by trash.
The residents say that the area doesn’t have a place for dumping the trash.
The Perroi i Vraskes has turned into a waste dump location. The inert materials in the riverbed could cause massive floods in case of heavy rains.
