An avalanche of stones has blocked the transportation communication of 10.000 residents in Shishtavec, Topojan and Zapod.
The road that leads to these areas is blocked due to constant landslides and doesn’t allow pedestrian to move.
The only solution is a tunnel, which has been opened for a hydropower plant in this area. Every day, dozens of people go through the tunnel to take supplies, mainly food.
According to residents, this road is very dangerous due to constant landslides and avalanches. The best way to avoid danger is to secure the mountain side with protective nets. The residents complain that the blocked road has made their love more dificult. They are obliged to transport their sick people, children and food by carrying them with their hands.
