Shale Commune burned, author arrested

According to the Police, Toma worked as guard of the building.

This Monday, the commune was totally burned while police declared that it was intentional and related with the prolonged electoral process in this mountainous area of Shkoder.

The elections in this commune failed two times. The third time was won by the Socialist candidate with a razor sharp victory.

The Democratic Party complained at the Central Election Commission and the Electoral College, but their request was rejected. The building was burned while the new head of the commune was waiting for the finalization of the procedures, in order to start his mandate. Police is investigating for documents that might have been damaged during the fire.
