Another suicide was reported this Saturday in the Albanian capital, where a young man ended his life under unexplained circumstances.
The tragic event happened on “Perlat Rexhepi” street, where the 28-year-old man with the initials J. M., hanged himself in his apartment. The police and the investigative team are at the scene to investigate the incident.
Within two days seven suicides were reported in Albania, while today at noon, a 60-year-old woman was found to have drowned herself in the Artificial Lake of Tirana. While in the morning, another tragedy unfolded with an elderly jumping from the fifth floor of the apartment. The incident took place on “Hamdi Sina” street in Tirana, where the 78-year-old woman died on the spot.
A day ago, Renea forces’ divers found the dead body of a 21-year-old man, who allegedly drowned himself in a water channel in the village of Çukas in Lushnja, in the southwest of the country.
While a 23-year-old woman, who allegedly suffered from mental health problems, jumped from the fifth floor of her building, on “Asim Vokshi” street.
The causes of the suicide state of the late citizens are not known or yet investigated by the officials.
On Thursday, near the Medresa in Tirana, an 81-year-old woman also ended her life by hanging herself in her home.
