The Court of Serious Crimes has left in prison one of the Aliko
brothers, the younger, Alban, suspected of being a member of the gang
that attacked a police patrol, killing Special Agent Ibrahim Basha and
wounding two others.
The session started this Wednesday, early hours, but it was interrupted due to the young age of the defendant. Alban Aliko is 17, and for this reason, the lawyer has asked for a psychiatrist.
Lawyer Neshat Fana said that the evidence of the Prosecution do not prove that the Aliko brothers are responsible for the murder of the police officer.
His older brother, Arbion Aliko, will appear today in court for a series of charges, including murder and illegal arm possession.
