The Socialist MP, Erjon Brace, continued reporting of what he called this time “the Serbian occupation of Porto Romano”.

Brace published on Facebook a document that describes an 80.000 square meter  area owned by “Crown Acquisitions”, company of the Serbian-Bosnian businessman, Damir Fazlic.

Once again Brace asked the Prime Minister’s daughter, Argita Malltezi: “How did Damir Fazlic become owner of this land? Did he buy it? Who did he buy it from? Is he a foreign citizen? Is this ownership in full accordance with the law? Did he pay a success fee? If yes, to whom? How much did he pay?”

The Porto Romano scandal exploded after the Paki businessman, Zafar Ansar, made several declarations on Top Channel. Ansar says that he first visited Albania when a friend of his was Ambassador of Pakistan to Rome, which also covered Albania.

He adds that his company mainly deals with finance and energy projects. He wanted to buy the former Savings Bank in Albania, but this project was not realized, since the Ministry of Finances owned 40% of the share. Then Ansar declared that he started exploring the possibilities to invest in energy.

He was offered a plot of land to build the thermal power station in Porto Romano. The Paki businessman was introduced to Argita Berisha, the Prime Minister’s daughter and her law firm, by the Albanian Ambassador in Saudi Arabia.

“Argita offered her services and I agreed to cooperate. She send me the agreement to secure her payments for the legal services, and she also wanted a 3% success fee. I didn’t sign the agreement, since I considered it a bribe. My project was rejected, but not because of my exclusive requests or the oil issues. It was rejected because I didn’t accept their requests”, Ansar declared on Top Channel.
